This section presents blanks from the burl, suvel, lump, root of various types of wood. These parts of the tree trunk are characterized by a beautiful pattern, interweaving of fibers, various patterns.
A burl is a tree growth in which the grain has grown in a deformed manner. It is commonly found in the form of a rounded outgrowth on a tree trunk or branch that is filled with small knots from dormant buds. Suvel differs from the burl by the fact that it does not have dormant buds.
There is a birch suvel on the picture.
The moisture content of the blanks is about 6%. Packed in shrink film.
